Edinburgh II

We had gone up to the castle to check it out earlier but it seemed like every tourist bus in the country has just dislodged its payload as we got there. It had started to rain so we came back for a nap. Afterwards we were tired enough that we decided to just wander around town and take pictures. The castle was right across from our hotel and was lit up by the setting sun.
St Johns church is also close by.
It was closed to the public but the windows were lit up from inside.
We traveled down into St Cuthbert's Kirkyard for a look.
And saw the guard tower erected to keep grave robbers at bay.

And the statue of Bum. Look up the story about him.
While you are looking up things, check out the story of Mr Penny and why coins are left on this park bench.
The sun is setting and time to call it a day. One last shot.
Tomorrow we go over to Falkirk to see the Kelpies.
