London Redux
We got to the train and headed off to Crewe, where, on weekends, you have to go to change for a train to London. We were arriving on one rail while our other train was meeting us
When we got to London at the Euston station we decided to splurge and hire a taxi.
I dropped Mike off at the Churchill War Museum and headed off to take pictures, some of famous stuff and some lowly government buildings that needed a little attention.
It was starting to rain and I saw something that was closer than expected.
Since it was close and the lines were short due to weather, I decided I needed to go over and do the one thing I wanted to do in London.
Pictures are poor quality but a record of my trip.
Buckingham Palace back of Green Park
The weather just got worse so no more pictures. A good day was had by all and we are on our way home.
The Snooker Championship final started today at 1pm. I hope we get back in time to see the last game.
Tomorrow I am going to post all the notes I made to myself and any miscellaneous photos I want to keep before deleting all the vacation stuff off my phone.
We should be getting home Tuesday unless travel plans are delayed. I hope you got some enjoyment from this endeavor. It was fun to do.
We absolutely LOVED following your travel journal throughout your month-long stay in the UK!! It was such an extra-special treat to see your beautiful photos and read your fascinating comments about the places you visited. What a fabulous trip and you have a terrific record of your adventurous journey! XO, Lori and Don 💟

DeleteI love so much that you two had such wonderful adventures and shared them with us. Memories for a lifetime! Are you looking forward to sleeping in your own bed and not living out of your suitcases?
ReplyDeleteMy own bed, my own bath, decent coffee, and knowing how to use the remote control!
DeleteThanks for taking us along! Loved all the pictures. Have a safe trip home. ☺️❤️ Jo Anne
